HEERF provides aid to help students with academically related expenses such as food, housing, course materials, technology, healthcare, and childcare. With a full-time job in the Air Force, you receive incomparable on-the-job training and benefits like 30 days of vacation with pay each year, up to 100 percent of tuition reimbursement, housing allowance and retirement. Although HEERF II is similar in general structure and purpose to the original HEERF funding under the CARES Act, it also has some important differences, including additional flexibility for the use of certain institutional funds by mandating the priorities under which student grant amounts are determined, and by permitting the application of student grant awards to outstanding balances under specific conditions. The following labs are open to all students. The Central College teacher education program is approved by the Iowa Department of Education and the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary.
